The Pinnacle Club Secretariat visited Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 31 to June 2, 2022, marking a significant step towards resuming in-person events. During the trip, the Secretariat met and dined with key members of the Pinnacle Club Vietnam Chapter, including COL GEN (Ret'd) Nguyen Huy Hieu, LG (Ret'd) Nguyen Dinh Chien, and MG (Ret'd) Nguyen Sinh Xo, on June 1st. Representing the Secretariat were MG (Ret'd) Goh Yong Siang, COL (Ret'd) Goh Kong Yong, and Ms. Vera Tan.

The primary focus of the meeting was planning the upcoming Pinnacle Club event, tentatively scheduled for Q4 2022 in Hanoi and hosted by the Vietnam Chapter. This will be the first gathering of the Pinnacle Club since the onset of COVID-19 travel restrictions. A seminar on "Disaster Response and Humanitarian Relief," led by the Philippines Chapter, is planned in conjunction with the event.

The Vietnam Chapter proposed inviting the Chairman and members of the Veterans Association of Vietnam (VAVN) to the event. Over the coming months, the Pinnacle Club Secretariat and the Vietnam Chapter will finalize the dates and program, extending invitations to all chapters.

The Secretariat plans to continue its outreach, visiting and meeting with other Pinnacle Club Chapters in the near future.
