The Pinnacle Club Secretariat met with the Lao Ambassador to Singapore in December 2022 and March 2023 to discuss establishing a Lao Chapter of the Pinnacle Club.
The Pinnacle Club Secretariat is actively working to expand its membership to include all ten ASEAN nations. A key step in this process was a meeting on December 29, 2022, with Sengkeo Pouangpadith, the Lao Ambassador to Singapore, at the Stratagem Group office (which houses the Pinnacle Club Secretariat).
During the visit, Ambassador Pouangpadith received a briefing on the Pinnacle Club's mission, activities, and organizational structure, including Stratagem Group's role as the secretariat. The Secretariat also outlined plans to welcome the Lao People's Armed Forces as the final chapter of the Pinnacle Club, completing ASEAN representation.
Building on this initial discussion, MG (Ret'd) Goh Yong Siang and members of the Pinnacle Club Secretariat hosted Ambassador Pouangpadith for a follow-up lunch on March 27, 2023. The Secretariat acknowledged the Ambassador's crucial role in connecting the Pinnacle Club with the Lao People's Armed Forces.
The Pinnacle Club Secretariat anticipates a visit to Vientiane in the first half of 2023 to officially launch the Lao Chapter.
