The Pinnacle Club Secretariat made a historic visit to Vientiane, Laos, from June 13-16, 2023, marking the official launch of the Pinnacle Club Lao Chapter. This significant milestone means all ten ASEAN countries are now represented within the Pinnacle Club.

The trip was facilitated by Mr. Sengkeo Pouangpadith, the Lao Ambassador to Singapore, who played a crucial role in connecting the Secretariat with the Lao Veterans Federation.

During the visit, the Secretariat met with key figures, including LG Sengnouan Xayalat, President of the Lao Veterans Federation, and MG Saiychai Kommasith, Permanent Secretary of the Lao Defence Ministry. These meetings provided a platform to welcome the Lao Chapter and extend invitations to the Pinnacle Club's upcoming event in Hanoi in August 2023. Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

At the meetings in Vientiane, MG (Ret’d) Goh Yong Siang welcome the Lao Chapter into the Pinnacle Club and invited members of the Lao Chapter to attend the Pinnacle Club event to be held in Hanoi in August 2023. The meetings also facilitated exchanges of views on issues of mutual interests in a social and cordial setting. MG (Ret’d) Goh Yong Siang, COL (Ret’d) Goh Kong Yong and Ms Vera Tan Hui Xin from the Pinnacle Club Secretariat were present at the meetings in Vientiane.

MG (Ret'd) Goh Yong Siang, COL (Ret'd) Goh Kong Yong, and Ms. Vera Tan Hui Xin represented the Pinnacle Club Secretariat during the meetings. LG Sengnouan Xayalat also hosted a lunch for the delegation on June 14th.
