On March 26, 2025, Stratagem Group and NDRC-ICC held a closed-door roundtable in Beijing to discuss China's digital economy and Sino-US trade relations.
Stratagem Group Pte Ltd held a closed-door roundtable dialogue with the International Cooperation Centre of National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC-ICC) on 26 March 2025 in Beijing. The event was the first such closed-door roundtable dialogue between Stratagem Group and NDRC-ICC, arising from a cooperation agreement signed between the two organisations in September 2024.
The closed-door roundtable dialogue was hosted by Zhang Jidong (张继栋), Director, International Cooperation Department of NDRC-ICC. In the morning session, Hong Yanqing (洪延青), Law Professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology (北京理工大学), spoke and led the discussion on “China’s Data Management System and the Development of China’s Digital Economy”. Li Bin (李斌), former First-Class Inspector at NDRC, spoke and led the discussion on “Sino-US Economic & Trade Relations” in the afternoon session.
The fact that two dialogue sessions were conducted closed-door with Chatham House rules applied allowed for free flow of casual and frank exchanges.
