Taking the advantage of the vaccinated travel lane (VTL) arrangements between Thailand and Singapore, the secretariat of the Pinnacle Club visited Bangkok. The Pinnacle Club secretariat had the privilege and was pleased to meet and lunch on 15 December 2021 with old friends of the Thailand Pinnacle Club Chapter – GEN (Ret’d) Mongkon Ampornpisit (host), ACM (Ret’d) Amorn Naewmalee, GEN (Ret’d) Chokechai Hongstong, GEN (Ret’d) Winai Phattiyakut and Group Captain Akamol Shavalikul (who is the Air Attaché (designate) to Singapore). MG (Ret’d) Goh Yong Siang, COL (Ret’d) Goh Kong Yong and Miss Vera Tan from the Pinnacle Club secretariat were present at the lunch.
The meeting facilitated exchanges of ideas on the Club’s future plans and discussions on the latest Covid developments in Bangkok and Singapore. The secretariat of the Pinnacle Club will continue to work with the Pinnacle Club Thailand Chapter in bringing in more members and having fruitful exchanges within the Pinnacle Club.
The Pinnacle Club secretariat hopes to be able to visit and meet up with friends of the other Pinnacle Club Chapters as soon as travel protocol permits.
